Dubside
Write him a letter, put it in a bottle, throw it into the sea.

Dubside is a man with very special requests, not only when it comes to paddles. He is a true survival artist, travelling and teaching rolling world wide. He was using a Black Light Sharp One during his Swedish tour 2010:
“It´s very light, of course. I like the sharp edges very much. It catches the water and sculls very well and it´s easy to teach sculling with it. The thin blade edges are exactly what you want on a Greenland paddle – and still very strong – that would be a very fragile paddle in wood.

Carin Green

Carin is a woman who doesn´t hesitate to take a challenge. In a sea kayak, she is always in the front. Smiling. She runs a kayak centre, Horisontkajak, close to Stockholm, on the east coast of Sweden.

Rowland Woollven

Rowland is a British Canoe Union Level 5 sea kayak coach, teaching and guiding in the Oban area and on the west coast of Scotland. Rowland mainly uses a Greenland paddle when on the water.
When the Black Light Sharp One was unveiled at the Anglesey symposium in May 2010, Rowland tested it and ordered both a one piece and take-apart version.
”It´s an incredibly light and beautiful paddle to use – almost weightless, so all your effort and energy is translated into powerful strokes rather than in bench-pressing the paddle. It feels and looks just right!”

Johan Wagner

johan@escapeoutdoors.se

Johan is a outdoor freak. He runs Escape Outdoors and up and down the hills/in the woods as often as he can. In 1997 he was a lonely nerd on the Swedish symposium, paddling with a Greenland paddle. Attending the symposium on Anglesey, Wales, with his stick he was look on with suspicion and was recommended not to go into the races with ‘that paddle’. Johan keeps proving everything is possible. In August 2011 he is taking part in the UTMB – the mountain ultra marathon of 168 km round Mount Blanc.
